| The medium sized of what I call the Planing, or 'Elegant Tinny' Range. Gannet, like her sisters,Shearwater, and Fulmar have flat planing bodies and wide transom, ideal for planing under sail in ideal conditions and planing under power with modest outboards and a load.
Kim Brown built a stretched Gannet years ago (16') with a gaff cutter rig set up; sails nicely even well loaded and is very pretty. |
